A child’s home (1- exterior appearance): the damaged house does not have its own wall support, the house only stands by the support of its next-door neighbor’s brick walls.

A child’s home (2-interior appearance): There is no visible support when seen from inside. It is hard to imagine someone is living here.

Another damaged wooden house, and the unsteady ladder.

推开两扇门板，屋内一无所有。年久失修的木房残破不堪，木板吱吱呀呀的刺耳声，警示着我们注意脚下，谨防因木板腐烂而踩空
When we open the two doors of this house, we see that it is empty inside. This damaged wooden house has been left unrepaired for years. The annoying creaking noise from the wooden planks is a warning to be cautious; a wrong step and you may trip down upon the damaged floor.

父母亲都已去世，孩子由叔叔抚养长大
A child is being brought up by his uncle, because his parents had passed away.

孤儿和爷爷住在县城的这座小房子里，里面空无一物，隔壁邻居的二层楼房显得无比巨大
An orphan lives with the grandparents in this small house in town, and practically nothing is inside the house. The next-door neighbor’s two-story building is very big compared to theirs.

这些初三学生迟到15分钟，简阿姨请他们向在场所有同学鞠躬道歉，借机传达守时的重要性
These junior high 3rd level students were late for 15 minutes. Aunt Jane asked them to bow and to apologize to all the students, and took this opportunity to send a message regarding the importance of being punctual.

孩子们主动记下防性侵和自我保护的要点
These kids are taking notes on the essential points about the prevention of sexual assault and self-protection.

晚自习座谈结束，那坡民中一位可爱的初一男孩追出教室，向简阿姨承诺：我一定会好好努力的！
At the end of the self-study night seminar, a lovely junior high student of the Napo Ethnic Junior School follows Aunt Jane out the classroom and promise to her, "I will do my best!"

A volunteer tells the children of the world outside the mountain.

Aunt Jane is teaching the children on how to distinguish priorities.

爷爷一人独力抚养孙子，靠政府补助修建了这所砖房，砖房尚未完工，非常狭窄且通风极差，一做饭满屋子都是油烟
Grandpa is raising a grandson alone, and relies on government subsidies to rebuild this brick house; it is not completed yet. Also it is very narrow and has very poor ventilation; it fills with much smoke whenever he cooks.

There is no place to seat, grandpa, where are you taking us?

单亲学生的爸爸已三年无法出外打工，在家照顾瘫痪的爷爷
This father is a single parent of one of the students, he is unable to go to work for the last three years, because he has to look after grandfather.

家访的路上经常可见这样的石子路
We often come across this type of gravel road on our way to the family visits.

抚养孙子和养家的重担全在外公身上，孩子父母亲常年在外打工，孩子患有先天性心脏病，发病时只有外公抱着孩子一路赶往医疗所
The grandfather is the only one taking the burden of raising his grandchild and supporting his family. The parents of this kid are always out working year round, this student is suffering from congenital heart disease; only the grandfather could hold him and rush him to the doctor’s clinic when he has the heart attack.

Longhe Junior School’s teacher drives his truck to take us to the country side village for the family visit.

通往龙合乡和定业乡的山路，当地人称为”云端上的路”
The road to the townships of Longhe and Dingye, is locally known as the "Road on top of the clouds ".

路途遥远路况欠佳，为早点赶回县城住宿，定业初中的座谈时间改为下午进行。学生主动提问：课业太多总是做不完怎么办？
In order to return to the county early because of the poor road condition and long journey, we changed the Dingye Junior School’s meeting time to the afternoon. A student poised the question: "We have a lot of school work and we cannot finish them, what should we do?"

定业初中的农老师开车以13迈的速度行驶在因暴雨冲垮的道路上，路边的石头阻碍了我们的去路，农老师下车清除阻碍物
Dingye Junior School teacher Mr. Loong drove at a speed of 13 mph on a road washed out by the torrential rain; Mr. Loong had to get out of his car to remove a stone which blocked our way.

原来您是学生的奶奶，我们正好要去您家拜访......
"You are one of the student’s grandma, we are going to visit your home…"

Following the footsteps of the school teacher to visit the students’homes of the "Tomorrow Program" in the villages and counties one by one.

The four brothers of her deceased husband is building a brick house. The single mother and her children stay in the temporary sheds.

今年那坡民中、龙合初中和定业初中共有21个“真爱明天”学生考上了那坡高中，我们在学校的会议室和孩子们见面
This year we have a total of twenty one students from Napo Ethnic Junior School, Longhe Junior School and Dingye Junior School accepted into Napo Senior High School. We talk to these students in the school’s meeting room.

考上那坡高中的一位孩子说：“简阿姨，原本担心升高中后就再也见不到您了，没想到您会继续资助我们，仍来看望我们”
One of the students accepted by Napo Senior High School said: "Aunt Jane, I was worried about not seeing you when I am in the senior high school, didn’t think that you will continue to support and visit us."
