What is Tomorrow Program? ◊ Tomorrow Program is co-chaired by Professor Shiyi Chen from Peking University and Professor Chih-Ming Ho from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) in USA, and is organized by volunteers from the mainland China, Taiwan, and U.S. ◊ The Program aims at helping the very needy students in the 512 Sichuan earthquake areas and the state poverty counties middle schools and high schools to finish their study. ◊ Tomorrow Program also teaches social responsibilities by providing them opportunities in environmental protection services and care for others. ◊ Tomorrow Program has been greatly supported by China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC). All donations will be accepted by CCAFC on behalf of Tomorrow Program. ◊ Tomorrow Program has financially supported over 17000 impoverished students since September, 2008. Many of the students have already graduated from high school and entered university. ◊ Till now, Tomorrow Program has aided impoverished students from the following schools in Sichuan province: Qingchuan Muyu Middle School, Qiaozhuang Middle School, Guanzhuang Middle School, Sanguo Middle School, Qingchuan First High School, Qingchuan Middle School, Qingchuan Vocational High School, Beichuan Ethnic Middle School in Beichuan county, Jiangyou High School in the city of Jiangyou; and Zhangjiachuan First High School, Zhangjiachuan Second High School in Gansu province. |
