What is Tomorrow Program? ◊ Tomorrow Program is co-chaired by Professor Shiyi Chen from Peking University and Professor Chih-Ming Ho from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), and is organized by volunteers from the mainland China, Taiwan, and U.S., led by Tricia Lin, COO. ◊ The Program aims at helping disadvantaged middle school and high school students in the 512 Sichuan earthquake regions to complete educational programs. ◊ Tomorrow Program also educates students with social responsibilities by providing them opportunities in environmental protection services and community outreach. ◊ Tomorrow Program has been generously supported by China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC). ◊ Tomorrow Program has financially supported over 17,000 impoverished and underserved students since September 2008. Many of the students have graduated from high school and entered universities after our program. ◊ To date, Tomorrow Program has aided disadvantaged students from the following schools in Sichuan province: QingchuanMuyu Middle School, Qiaozhuang Middle School, Guanzhuang Middle School, Sanguo Middle School, Qingchuan First High School, Qingchuan Middle School, Qingchuan Vocational High School, Beichuan Ethnic Middle School in Beichuan county, Jiangyou High School in the city of Jiangyou; and Zhangjiachuan First High School, Zhangjiachuan Second High School in Gansu province. |
