去听障女孩儿家走访：爸爸和聋哑的妈妈在外地打工，爷爷在弟弟小学旁边租了间简陋的单屋，周末爷孙三人步行二个多小时回家照料庄稼
A home visit to the hearing impaired girl: her father and deaf mother work outside of the village; her grandfather rents a dilapidated house next to her brother’s primary school and during the weekends the three of them walk for more than two hours to go home to take care of their crops.

We set off at 6 a.m. from Nanjiang County, after a little more than an hour, we arrived in Shangliang Village, and the two partners are having breakfast along the side of the street.

This is the government funded nine-year compulsory education school building in Shangliang Village; the primary and junior secondary schools are together.

The child’s home is about 3 kilometers from the school; in order to save money he runs home every day for each meal, it is about 18 kilometers in total.
